When to call OB.

So I’m 4 weeks with my rainbow baby and it’s been a year since I lost my last child (at four weeks). I don’t know if I should call my OB early or just wait. I don’t have a complicated history with my pregnancies but I’m wondering if I should call anyway in case he wants to see me early. I do go on July 6th for a pap because my test came back abnormal a few months ago. Should I mention it then at the appointment? Or should I just go ahead and call next week. I’d be around 7 weeks when I go for my repeat visit for another pap.

You need to calm and change your appt. At 7 weeks, you’ll be ready for your first appt. If they just have your scheduled for a pap, they won’t have time to do the other things .

I would call and see if you can get in. They may not see you tell a little later. 
When I got pregnant with my son I got in at 7 weeks I think.  But I have lost two before than.  Doesn’t hurt to call.  I

I’ve had two previous miscarriages (one between 4 and 5 weeks and the other at 6 weeks exactly) and when I told my OB they wouldn’t see me sooner. However, I found a local pregnancy clinic that offers free ultrasounds starting at six weeks, so I made an appointment there.

I would call. My Dr likes to have blood drawn early and check the hcg level. Maybe since you have had a miscarriage before they may have you check it once, then again in a couple days to make sure your pregnancy is progressing.
