When to announce?!

Question

Hey all! My last ultrasound was 10 weeks and things look great. I don’t have another ultrasound until week 14. Do most people still announce at week 13 even if they don’t have an appt that week? Should I just wait the week until my appt at 14 weeks? I don’t think they will be doing another ultrasound at 14 weeks, but maybe a doppler. I’m not really sure, because I forgot to ask lol.
I’ve been pregnant once before with a MMC at 10 weeks, so just cautious and curious 😄

We plan to announce at 11 weeks and 1 day (tomorrow) after our appointment assuming everything looks good. We feel comfortable sharing our story if something tragic were to happen at this point too

It's really up to you! Announce whenever you feel comfortable. I k iw alot of people just wait till the second trimester since the risk of miscarriage drops to 1% but it really is up to you. Congratulations!

We waited until 12 weeks to tell friends and family 
Then we waited until 20 weeks (after our anatomy scan) to announce to social media

We announced at 10weeks because it was our anniversary and we had a cute announcement. I was very hesitant about announcing at 10 but I have a lot of friends who did and I figured why not. It’s just more support if something goes south but so far so good 💕
