Every woman is different, I bled & cramped straight through 14 weeks, sometimes clotting. It was a nightmare for me. I had a subchorionic hemorrhage. Every time I had cramping I freaked out and called my poor midwife until she scheduled an ultrasound for me to ensure baby is growing okay. That's when I found out about the hemorrhage and was relieved to know I and baby were okay.
But it's not always this way for everybody, so if it's major bleeding+cramping+clots get checked out!! Some spotting is normal though for early preg, across the board.

Bleeding can be common in east pregnancy but I would keep an eye on it and let your doctor know if you’re concerned.
