Is it safe to put hand sanitizer on a 20 month old?

With things starting to open up we’re planning on going on day trips (beach, zoo, etc.) but I’m still a bit nervous and wanted to put hand sanitizer on my son frequently...is this safe?

Yes I put sanitizer on my 21 months old hands frequently she loves to wash her hands with it 😆she’s always asking for some more

I’ve used it every now and then on my 12 month old. Just make sure they don’t have any cuts on their fingers and that they keep their fingers out of their mouth 🙂

I would use kid safe sanitizers.  Babyganics

As long as they don’t put their hands in their mouth - the gel is alcohol after all. The hospital warned us about this in our infant/toddler safety class.

Not sure how frequent, but I’ve put it on my 1 year old when she touches something and I don’t have access to soap and water.

I use sanitizer and then wile her hands off with a baby wipe. Only when the risk of what she touched though is worse than the alcohol.

Sounds toxic even for an adult lol. I don’t use that stuff but that’s just me 🤷🏼‍♀️
