IVF and Fathers Day

La

Im switching up my focus for today. I know as women we carry a lot of the burden through the IVF process, and our partners play a supportive role.

My husband has never been vocal about his feelings during this process. Much of his energy has gone towards supporting my needs.

This morning we’re laying in bed. He’s on his phone and suddenly he turns to face

me and says, “all this Facebook stuff about Father’s Day is... it’s nice but I’m really to be a father too.” His face was so sad and my heart just broke. He didn’t elaborate or anything.

It just made me realize how hard this process has been for him too. What do you do to support your partners? I do hope we get a BFP soon.
