Yes, it’s an anti fungal cream. If you have a yeast infection, it’s a very effective treatment. I personally prefer the one-day suppository version as opposed to the multi-day cream versions. 
If Monistat does not work to cure your infection, call your doctor as it may be BV, which has the same symptoms but is treated differently. If it is a yeast infection and Monistat doesn’t help, your doctor may prescribe you diflucan.

One day was too intense for me and it burned my insides. I’d do 3 days as much as it sucks.
