So I recently got a couple of dating apps and got a couple of matches. Some guys have messaged but there’s some who genuinely want to talk to and get to know, but they haven’t messaged first. In the past Im the type of shoot my shot cause life is too short lol, Do you guys think it’s cool for the girl to message first or does that look desperate ?

I almost always message first. I actually almost always take the first step in any stage of the relationship. It doesnt always work out, but I know guys can be very unmotivated, and I dont have time to wait around. I'd rather know how it turned out instead of asking "what if"

I don’t think it matters if you message first but I personally only talk to guys that message me first. I want to see the effort they put in.  Do what you want 😊
