How old was your newborn when you took them in public for the first time?

Well a few years ago before COVID was a thing I took her to Walmart at a few days old although she still had a blanket covering her

Since COVID is a thing it will be a while until I will take my baby out in public

I mean by public.. we have taken all our newborns shopping with us right away but they stay in their seat with a cover over their seat or if it's going to be a longer trip I wear them (wrap) and they are still covered. But by being in public out of seats and stuff they are a little older depending on the time of the year

Yes we took them with us if we went out to eat, shopping, etc. 
But we avoided places like church for a good 6 weeks or so. Everybody wants to see baby and touch and hold, and I just can’t do that when they’re so little.

Mine were preemies so we waited until both of them were 3-4 months old. Just in case.

Before covid it was right away but she stayed in her car seat with her car seat cover on, we needed some stuff we didn’t think to buy. But, if I had a newborn now I wouldn’t be taking them to any stores or anything if I can help it. Car rides, yes, outside for walks, yes, but that’s it since that’s basically what we’re doing now with our daughter

Both of them right away. We went to Walmart day we went home from hospital lol.
