EWCM vs Semen Leaking?

Question

How do you tell the difference? We have intercourse fairly regularly & the semen tends to leak through the next day, and sometimes I am not sure whether I might be missing signs of EWCM because of this. Can anyone give me a tip to tell the dif? (Sorry if this is a stupid question! I just don’t know where else to ask it!)

Let me add that the ewcm I have during ovulation is a lot more slippery, whereas after dtd is just a little bit by the next day.

I have always wondered the same thing.  I know the distinct difference right after dtd, but I tend to have what appears to be like ewcm the next day too so I'm assuming maybe it's still semen? I have had ewcm both days this week after dtd the night before, but not the days in between so my guess is that it's actually related to the semen.

For me, semen feels more intense when it leaks out and usually happens within the 8 hours of having sex. Also has a slight smell to me. I definitely feel when I'm close to ovulating as well, but the "leaking" feeling I experience happens more in waves. Don't know if this helps, just my experience lol.

I have the same problem since we have sex so much. I don’t even bother with tracking my CM because it would be nearly impossible for me to differentiate. We have sex almost every other day all the time so I figure our odds are good enough without doing any CM tracking.
