I’m 16 and my boyfriend and I want to both have consensual sex soon. Not that we’re literally planning it but we both decided that we’re ready so when it happens it happens and yes we’ll be using condoms. So, will I bleed my first time because of my hymen tearing? Like, will I bleed a lot DURING actually having sex or does the bleeding happen after?

Everyone bleeds differently. Some barely bleed at all. I didnt use tampons until after I lost my virginity. I bled a decent amount when I lost it and I even bled the 2nd and 3rd time I had sex. I guess maybe my hymen didn't break all the way? But the blood isn't a big deal honestly. Its not like it gushes. Just be relaxed and take it slow the first time, because there will probably be some pain.

I saw tiny tiny blood afterwards, not during, maybe like 2-3 drops. Other than that, nothing happened. I felt a little bit uncomfortable for 1-2 days though but it passed quickly also. First one is special I accept that but don't worry about it too much! Just enjoy. 👌
