Buying my own wedding set?

Hi girls, so I’m not sure if it’s okay or not.... I got an engagement ring and then got married but I found out my husband cheated on me while he was my fiancé, I forgave him and now every time I wear those rings I remember what he did so I want to buy a new wedding set to wear. What do you girls think?

You could. But it kind of sounds like you haven’t really forgiven him and getting a new man would be better than a new ring.

There’s nothing wrong with this choice, but I’m concerned it’s not going to help get to the root of the problem.  Are you all in therapy?

🤔 I would think that looking at the man would be the painful reminder of his mistake but I get that the ring is a symbol of the promises he made when you married and then broke. 
If the ring is stirring up these feelings then the issue/pain is not resolved and it will remain regardless of if you find replacements for either the jewelry or the man. The money would be better placed on therapy.
