i hate it so much.

love my baby to the moon and back and i love her snuggles but this newborn stage sucks. she’s going to be 3 weeks old this thursday and still i can’t get her to sleep anywhere but my arms or on me which means i get two maybe three hours of sleep at night and maybe a 2 hour nap during the day.

I swaddle her, i feed her, i rock her and the second i set her down she freaks out. we’ve tried so many different swaddled, we’ve tried supplementing, we’ve tried breast milk in a bottle, we’ve tried keeping a hand on her until she falls asleep and she has a sound machine but absolutely nothing works.

I can’t believe people actually choose to go through this stage more than once🤦🏼‍♀️
