Does anyone else's baby refuse to latch when tired?

I'm BF and when my daughter is tired she will cry for food but she WON'T LATCH. She will move her head from side to side quickly trying to find the nipple while I have to hold the sides of her head and force my nipple in her mouth while she's screaming. Then she eats for 10-20 mins and falls asleep calmly 🤯

Yup they are so silly sometimes eh! Mine will also put her hands in her mouth making it particularly hard to feed her!

My daughter does that, she would stick her tongue around the nipple 😂 giggle then eat and sleep 🤦🏾‍♀️

This happened last night she went to eat freaked out and did that like 3/4 more times then passed out haha babies are weird little things sometimes

Yes mine does that sometimes, especially if she’s angry! I usually don’t nurse to sleep so I don’t have to deal with it too often thankfully!

Yes we have this every evening. Have to get her to fall asleep for a little bit then she will wake, feed and go to sleep properly for the night

Mine does this every night around 8, his witching hour.  I've just started pumping and have my husband feed him.  For some reason he'll take the bottle without problem during this time.
