Anyone else still have to sleep at night with baby on your chest ?

I really hate the habit but it’s the only way I can survive the next day . She only will do bassinet for the first stretch , after 1 am she will not go back down ! I end up letting her sleep on my chest - in the safest way I can

I couldn't trust myself to stay awake to do that. There must be another option? Anyone who can help out? A different place for them to sleep?

I get it, my baby was as a sound sleeper then it’s like a switch flipped and will only sleep with me holding her, I have a zen sac but nothing work. I put lost of pillows on both sides. And I never fully fall asleep 🤦🏾‍♀️

Mine sleeps by my boobs through the night, its the only way I can get him to sleep period. I'm a light sleeper. I follow cosleeping safety rules. You have to do what works for you.

I have to rock mine til she’s fully asleep then slowly put her in the snuggle me

Try something other than a bassinet, once I switched to pack n play with a sleep sa I he was much happier and falls asleep on his own

Mine has been in a crib since about 6 or 7 weeks. None of my kids have liked the bassinet, but they’ve all loved the crib! Maybe worth a try for you?

I use to but then there was a day I switched to my side and forgot he was there and thank good I woke up enough to realize . Scared the crap out of me and I learned my lesson. I swaddled him and he’s pretty good at self soothing if he isn’t fully asleep yet. To each their own but I would definitely recommend trying to get her use to the bassinet. Or one of those side bed sleepers that kinda attach to your bedside. Almost like cosleeping but without the baby fully being in ur bed. Hang in there momma! You got this!!
