Why doesnt mattresses for baby crib dont come with crib?

We spent like 350 dollars on a crib and yet we have to spend  60-70 more bucks for a mattress? Really? Why doesnt it come with the damn crib ? Smh stupid

I mean, if you look at it this way, when you buy a new bed frame, the mattress doesn’t come with it so the same can be said for cribs. 🤷‍♀️

Lol it does suck that’s one reason why I skipped the crib. But I mean our mattress doesn’t come with a frame we buy so I get it. 
Plus I would not spend so much on crib + mattress even if I did buy one. $100 crib $30 mattress if that lol

I'm glad it doesn't. I would hate to get a mattress I didn't like just because it had to come with the crib.
