How to know if your baby is okay?

We don’t have another ultrasound for a hot minutes. I am 11 weeks pregnant. We can hear the baby heartbeat on the Doppler and it sounds strong and healthy. How do I know that everything is okay with my baby with out having an ultrasound? If I was going to miscarry wouldn’t it have already happened? I wasn’t able to start hearing the baby heartbeat on the Doppler till 10 weeks. Last time we saw was 7 weeks heartbeat was 132.

To be honest, we will never truly know until delivery. Yes we have harmony bloodwork and anatomy scan but nothing can secure the idea of a full term healthy baby. Sadly pregnancy is such a gamble and scary

Shortly you'll start to feel baby move and it'll reassure you heaps. For now, I'd suggest ditching the Doppler. Because while it helps to hear the heartbeat, it can be distressing when you can't. And usually the reason you can't is simply because they're in a hard to reach spot. I'm currently 10w2d with twins and I'm a huge ball of anxiety, just counting down till the second trimester, then the kicks, then the 20 week scan, then getting to 37 weeks to deliver. Mention your nerves to your Dr and see if they have any suggestions to help ease your mind a bit! Best of luck xx

You don't have a clue 🤷🏻‍♀️ well, you do more than I ever did with a Doppler, but still. You could miss it and things are perfectly fine.. I'd rather not give myself the ability to stress myself out more. Happy thoughts, happy vibes.
When pregnant with my first, I had HG. On the 3-or-so days that I didn't get sick, I panic searched that my symptoms were dissapearing. They'd come back with a vengeance the next day 🤦🏻‍♀️
It's been the same ish story with #2 and now #3. You really never know what could happen, and so far I have been incredibly fortunate.. but, do keep in mind that most often pregnancies lead to babies. So keep on keeping on! Happy & healthy 😊

Being 11 weeks and hearing a heartbeat is a really good sign things are good! Just stay positive and enjoy this wonderful time!

Miscarriages can happen anytime before 20 weeks, and stillbirth can happen anytime before birth. Unfortunately most times they can’t be prevented. 
However if you’re not cramping or bleeding I wouldn’t worry too much. In a few weeks when you start to feel baby move it will be reassuring. Then the further along you get you’ll do kick counts to help make sure everything is okay.
