Birth control shot? Pros and cons

Can someone give me their experience on the shot? I’ve never had it. Only pills but I’m so afraid I’m gonna get preggers again constantly miss them and remember at the very last minute, I do not need that rn with a newborn who needs all my attention plus I’m already struggling financially as it is.

I wouldn’t get the depo Shot .. at all. While some people see it as if it’s good because they don’t have to worry about condoms or periods etc no one thinks about the future. The depo can cause serious issues for your future. I wouldn’t do it

Pros you dont have to worry about taking it. 
Cons: where do I start? Its horrible. I was on it for almost 2 years. It can cause infertility.  Weight gain. Acne. Messes with ur bone density and ton of other stuff. 
Do your research on it before you get on. 
If its something other than depo. Just make sure you do your research! 😁

You dont have to take it everyday, so there's no risk tbere of you messing that up, side effects are different for everyone. I know some people who havent had any, some had headaches, so give it a try and see if it works for you

I don’t regret depo but I won’t take it again. My only side effect while on it was low sex drive and I was on it just over a year. I have now been off for 1 year and we have been TTC since it wore off. No luck.
