Where do you live? Never seen one in the wild.. Must take them a long time to cross the road!

I live next to a river so there’s literally turtles laying their eggs all over my yard, driveway and road this time of year. I rarely leave my front porch without seeing one lol but I do try to help the babies especially when they hatch cause most of them don’t make it.

I help out any animal or person in danger if I can. IMO it’s cruel if you leave an animal or person in danger if you can help
