Before I get into what happened on Sunday, I have a quick story to tell first. 3 years ago I started dating a guy who turned out to be crazy. After one night at the bar, I asked him to trim my hair. Instead of a trim, he took my hair (which was about half way down my upper back... If that makes sense lol) and cut it above my chin. I moved out the next day. It was so short I didn't get a cut for about 3 years.... That day was Sunday.

I asked for long layers and she gave me really short ones. I said I wanted a face frame starting at my chin and she cut it like a little passed my eyes. It looks like I'm trying to grow out bangs! Luckily it's just long enough to where I can put it up but I am so beyond upset. When my ex cut my hair, I bought some clip in hair extensions but they never looked right so I ended up selling them to a girlfriend of mine. This time I'm thinking of going to a salon and get some. Is it really a waste of money? Should I just deal with wearing my hair up for at least the next year or is it worth it to get professional extensions? This has really destroyed my self esteem so I really have no problem spending a couple hundred dollars to feel better about myself. I just want to make sure it's a good investment. Any advice is greatly appreciated. (I still can't believe the first haircut I got after getting my hair chopped off and this happens smh lol)
