Who drives you crazy?

Just wondering, I feel like I hear a lot of crazy in law stories, but my mother-in-law is great, super respectful of me and my family. My mother on the other hand mocks and ridicules me every chance she gets, and then plays the victim when I ignore her. We're currently fighting right now which is what spurred this question for me.

My mother for sure! Haven’t spoken to her in a few weeks. My relationship with my mother in law is amazing though!

I always had a rocky relationship with my mom and she def drive me crazy. My MIL also drives me crazy at times depending on the situation. She’s very pushy on what she thinks is right and tries to guilt my husband and is also a gossip queen so EVERYONE knows your business which is exactly opposite of how I am. She’s a very nice and helpful person but I will never have a super close relationship/friendship with her.

Both, but for different reasons. My husband said his mom thinks our toddler is 4 instead of 19m (in her expectations of him) and my mom seems to think he's 4m. My MIL will get upset when he pulls out now toys before putting others away and generally expects him to understand things he's too young to get, especially when she has different expectations than we do at home. We're working on cleaning up, but we don't stress about it and we don't yell at him for it. My mom, on the other hand, freaks out of he goes near stairs because she "didn't know he could do that" even though he's been doing stairs for like 6+months. He picked up a jar I had in the yard and she started screaming and I thought he was like bleeding or something. She's just really over protective, and was when I was a kid too. She says "but what if he gets hurt?" Well, then he'll learn 🤷🏼‍♀️
So far no problems with my May baby, I guess they understand how I parent babies now. But I think we'll always struggle with my first
