Am I right?
I can’t remember what adjusted age means when it comes to preemie babies. I learned it while working in daycare and having a daycare baby that was a 29 weeker.
My nieces were born at 35 weeks
5 weeks early that’s more than a month of development in the womb that they didn’t get.
My brother is like “do you think they’re normal babies they seem behind”
And I tried to explain that they’re technically a month behind in development. Take their age and imagine that they were born on their due date, they’re technically 2 month old babies from the time they were conceived until now. They may have been born 3 months ago, but they’re at a 2 month old stage.
Maybe someone else here can explain it better lmfao but I think my nieces are developmentally normal considering they’re preemies
