How do y’all handle “pregnancy jealousy”??

I really hate the fact I’m writing this and hate feeling this way but just have to vent ..anyone else ever feel a little jealous of friends & family around them who are pregnant? My sister in law is pregnant with a girl and keeps sending me photos of literally the nursery of my baby dreams and just al this cute stuff in general and although I’m so so happy for her I can’t help but feel a little bummed & jealous ? anyone else ever feel that way? How do you all Handel it? It’s literally the worst feeling 😭 😤 I just wish I was prego too and could be sharing this experience with her and some of my other friends who are also pregnant .. its almost like a weird FOMO feeling 😕

Yup, I could not even manage to go to a friends baby shower bc I had just found out about my chemical. It was awful and I totally get upset too. Often. It’s hard not to be jealous. Then some days, I browse the announcements page to envision my goal. I’ll be on that page someday and hopefully so will you. 
It comes and goes. Stay strong honey. You’re not alone.

My best friend was pregnant with her 1st.. my husband and I were on our 3rd miscarriage...
Then she was TTC baby #2... had the nerve to complain how she thought something was wrong with her because it was taking to long to conceive... she was trying since November and for pregnant in December 🤦🏻‍♀️ mean while I was on my 4th miscarriage...
Needless to say.. I wanted to fight her lol
I just kept telling myself it was going to happen for me when my body was ready...
And it did❤️

Totally normal feeling. I think we all have gone through it. Its hard to remind ourselves that our time will eventually come and the wait will be worth it

One of my best friends posted a pregnancy announcement the other day for baby #3 for her without trying and honestly i just called my fiancé and bawled until i felt better

I had a miscarriage. The week after my partners brother announced their pregnancy. I couldn't go to their gender reveal and I dont like looking at their scans. I deleted both of them off of social media so I don't have to see it.

All the time but then something immediately comes over me and I feel blessed for them . I know my day will come and i think those moods swings is god reassuring me . My dream is to be a momma and I can’t wait for the day that I can finally announce its my turn.

Yep. My sister in law just found out she is pregnant and texts me pictures of her sonogram and stuff. My husbands adopted dads girlfriend is pregnant ay the same time and they haven’t even been trying. It’s hard for us when we try everything just to get that second line but easier for everyone else. Baby dust 💕

Not alone at all! I feel this all the time but try to remind myself constantly that it'll happen for us. It's hard to do that right now though... when 4 people in my family are pregnant. One who doesn't even want kids, another one who is a drug addict and on her second baby, and 2 more who were total accidents (but who are also my best friends so I am truly happy for them). We have been trying for 3 years, have had one miscarriage, and one ectopic. It is heartbreaking watching everyone else live your dream.

I was honest with a friend that I was having big feelings of struggling and sadness and fear that I wouldn't get to have a baby and she repeatedly showed no signs of compassion for what I was going through. At the time I was in a severe amount of discomfort from a chronic illness, very poor, lonely and isolated living in a foreign country... and she still just kept bragging and shoving it in my face that she got to be pregnant a second time and hadn't even wanted to. It hurt deeply. Like, very deeply. With our friendship of well over a decade and with how much she had struggled with pregnancy jealousy before she got pregnant, I thought she would have been much more sensitive to my feelings.
I eventually set one single boundary in a polite yet honest way. And she hasn't been in touch since. 1.5 years now.

You’re not alone!  For just over the first year of TTC I could manage it, but then something just shifted and now it happens a lot.
