If you were induced with pitocin, what kind of delivery did you have?

Was told to start weighing induction options since I'll be 40 weeks next week. Just curious how many people had vaginal or csection after choosing pitocin.

Pitocin when I was induced. I do feel like the contractions are worse tho.

Vaginal, but close to an emergency cesection since the pit hyperstimulated my uterus and made me have a 5 min long contraction that they had a hard time getting stopped and made my baby’s heart rate crash into the 30s. Soooo, needless to say, I’m not a fan of induction unless there’s a big medical reason why.

From what I’ve read, a FTM who carries to term gives birth on average at 40+5, so you have some time and hopefully you won’t have to induce!

Ended with 26 hours with a forcep delivery prepped for a c-section but baby was to far down by that stage.

My first was induced with pitocin and I had him vaginally at 41 weeks. I had him 34 hours after starting Pitocin. Very long process. I am getting induced next week at 39 weeks. I’m hoping I’ll have a better experience this time. 🤞

I was induced with cytotec at first, then they moved to pitocin. After a long day of not making much progress and getting an infection I had to have a crash c-section.
