Am I the only one?

Question

My son would NOT take his morning nap and was being soooo angry.
I tried everything.
My mother in law comes over and he falls asleep in minutes on her...
I dunno why but it made me really upset AND really angry (not at anyone in particular but the situation)
Does anyone else feel like this sometimes?

Sure, it’s easy to take something like that personally. 
Babies are in tune with how we’re feeling, so if you were stressed about him not taking his first nap, he could have felt that and then been too stressed to relax. Your MIL comes in and has new energy and in response, you relax and so then he can relax too and then finally falls asleep.
You didn’t do anything wrong, you’re human. You get stressed and you take things personally when no one was trying to hurt you. I can totally relate. It’s easy for me to tell you to relax next time and just roll with the punches, but it’s not that easy in the moment.

My baby will not sleep if I hold her. My husband and his grandma can get her to sleep holding her no problem.
