How to know if it's implantation bleeding or my AF?

I had a light to medium bleeding 8 days after my fertility window (bled for 3 days, June 22-24). I'm supposed to have my period on the 27th. Could it be my AF or implantation bleeding? I've read an article saying the implantation bleeding can happen just before your next period. It could be a smear of blood only or an early bleeding. Mine's light to medium flow. My husband and I are hoping it's implantation bleeding 🤞🏼. I've been bloated for days and gassy 🙈. Did anyone have the same experience? What happened? Baby dust to all of us ladies! ✨
