When are people announcing they are pregnant?

I’ve told close family and friends but struggle on when to announce it to everyone else.

My last appt was at 9 weeks and had ultrasound. Baby looked good heartbeat was strong. My next appointment with the doctor won’t be until I’m 14 weeks. Not sure I want to wait that long to announce.

Is it safe to announce now? I’m 10.5 weeks.
