Having your 12 year old get upset with you because you won’t go swimming with them. Upset because you don’t feel good this weekend and won’t play with them. Having your 12 year old call you a “turd” for sitting on the couch all day. Have them complain about how they hate it here because it’s boring. Having your 12 year old make passive remarks about “how hard you must be working today” ........ all while you are sitting on the couch, wearing a maxi pad, trying not to move because you are currently having a miscarriage, holding back your tears, your frustrations, your sorrow.. all so the 12 year old doesn’t need to know you lost a baby.

Now that’s a struggle
