Did your baby first crawl or stand up?

My daughter will be 7 months soon and she is sitting and standing (with our help). She never wants to get into the position to crawl so we’re wondering if maybe she’ll be standing/walking first!?

My LO is 6 months today. She has started crawling and will stand when we hold her. But she has no interest in sitting. I try with the pillow behind her and she'll get upset and try to roll to her belly.

We went to PT with my first bc she refused to crawl and was a butt scooter. It’s important for them not to skip that milestone bc it’s important for their eye sight/depth perception, muscle strength, etc. She really just wanted to walk. She crawled finally at 13m

My son (he’s 3 now) started standing first. He didn’t crawl until he was 10 months old. He just has no interest. But then 2 weeks after learning to crawl he started walking. I have a feeling my daughter may be the same. She can sit on her own and has no interest in even being on her belly so crawling is like way far in the future still I feel like. But who knows we will see.

I’ve always heard crawling was actually an optional milestone. Some babies scoot, roll, or nothing before walking. Is that old concept?

My son is crawling. He loves standing (with us helping) and he looks like he’s about to try standing up on his own. He’ll have his hand and feet on the floor with butt in the air
