Are you going to be, or have you, sleep trained your LO?

My baby is 6 months and still waking up 2-3x a night :/ hoping he outgrows it

That's totally normal, mama. This is what we signed up for - loving and responding to that baby at all hours of the day and night. 💕 My little one wakes 3-5 times per night for nursing and cuddles. Some babies outgrow it early on, others keep waking until they're toddlers. Keep on giving the snuggles!

No. No judgement to those who have done it, but it’s just not my parenting style. My ex convinced me to try it once (while we were still together), and it lasted about 20 mins. She was hyperventilating and I couldn’t take it anymore. We bed share, which is pretty inconvenient, but the way I look at it is sleep is developmental. She’s shown me that she’s not ready to sleep on her own yet, and that’s okay. She’ll only be this little for a short time, so I’m just enjoying the snuggles

Its TOTALLY normal! For some reason at some point in the last 15 years society has told moms that their babies need to sleep through at 3 or 4 months old but when you dive deeper, it's more common for a baby to wake a few times at night than it is for the them to sleep through so tons of moms are wandering around wondering what they're doing wrong and if they should let their baby just cry because so and sos baby has been sleeping 10 hour stretches for 3 months now. Its ok, it's normal, itll pass. I have a 12 year old and a 7.5 month old and my oldest slept through very young but during the toddler years woke up at 4am for breakfast and by 10 I had to get her out of bed at noon on the weekends. All phases of life, my 7.5 month old wakes 2-6 times a night, I'm tired but know itll pass and I wont look back and focus on how tired I was. Hang in there momma!

Accidentally voted wrong. I put already had when I was trying to choose absolutely not. I don’t have anything against parents who choose to sleep train their babies, but it just does not work for me and my babe. My husband supports my decision 100%. The way we see it is that he will sleep through the night when he’s ready. I’m totally fine nursing him to sleep for nap and bedtimes. It’s been working great so far so why fix what already works.
