Broke up with babydad of 6 yrs. Cousin needs help

My bf of 6 years quit his job last month. He hasnt got paid in like 3 months because he was calling out of work. He always lacked stability and other issues. I spoke to him about the separation so he can help himself. He really needs to start thinking for himself and i think our family is better off this way. He will go to his grandmas and moms which is next door. Im sure ill see him alot but its ok , i can handle that. Now my cousin texted me that he has been out of work and tge people he is staying with are having alot of drama and he wants somewhere else to go and he will pay. I told him to come but now with everything transitioning idk if its a good move to move my bf out and have my cousin stay. I have a 4, 3 yo and 5mo. Should i take it slow for the kids sake? Or am i showing my kids a good thing that family is important. I can set guidelines and help him find a place. He has money. Im just hurting and am afraid to make more hard decisions
