So I'm on the nexplnon and I've been on it for at least 10 months now and I've never had this period/spotting problem before and I never had a period until this year, but me and my babe have sex a lot so does that have to do anything with it?

The sex has nothing to do it. What ur experiencing is a normal side effect of the Nexplanon. Progestin only methods are most known for causing irregular bleeding patterns. That can include longer time frames with or without bleeding, random bleeding, or frequent bleeding, at any given time, regardless of what previous patterns (or lack there of) have been like.
