Have any moms out there moved across the country? My husband wants to move us from Texas to Iowa (I know, I know...not necessarily across the country)

I just need to hear people’s experiences and get advice. I’m really struggling with the idea even though it would allow my husband to be home every night. (His current job has him work two weeks away, one week home).

My whole life is here. My family, friends, my job and my daughters school. I wouldn’t have any of those things in Iowa. Closest family would be two hours away, no friends (I’m not really the social make friends easy type), I’d be a stay at home mom, and preschool is only 3 hours a day up there instead of 730 to 230 like here in Texas. Idk, it’s a lot more emotionally complicated than I was thinking this decision would be.
