Mild mitral valve prolapse, has anyone else gotten diagnosed with this?

I just got my echocardiogram results back and was told I have MVP. Does anyone else on here have MVP? I was told not to worry and they will check it out again in a year. I’m not sure what to think about this😕

I have a mild form of it. My cardiologist told me most people you pass on the street have it and don’t know. I’ve had no issues with it during my pregnancy. I wouldn’t worry!!!

Mild MVP is pretty common. I wouldn’t worry too much at all.

When I was pregnant last time I was diagnosed with mitral valve regurgitation, pulmonary regurgitation, tachycardia, and a murmur. It all went away after my baby was born.
