2 Chemical Pregnancies

Katie

Hi everyone,

My husband and I have been TTC for 4 excruciating years (unexplained infertility). I’m 31, he’s 32. We’ve had two unsuccessful rounds of IVF.

Round #1: 25 eggs retrieved, only 1 PGS-tested embryo, FET resulted in chemical pregnancy (beta was only 15 at its highest)

Round #2: 11 eggs retrieved, 2 PGS-tested embryos, transferred one, another chemical (beta got up to 82 before it dropped)

We have one embryo left and honestly if this last time doesn’t work, I think we’re done with all of this. It’s been absolute torture to see those two lines, get your hopes all the way up, only to have them crushed two days later.

Any advice about what to do next? We’ve already done ERA testing and I’m receptive. We discovered I have poor egg quality through IVF and assumed that was our issue. Clearly something else is going on since implantation keeps failing. Anyone have a similar situation? Is there additional testing I should be asking for? I want to do everything possible before transferring our last embryo.

Thanks for the help.
