Anyone with eHook effect with subsequent miscarriage? What HcG level did you experience Hook effect?

I’ve been testing once a day since 10 dpo. I know it’s a bit obsessive, but it helps me get through the day more peacefully when I see my lines getting darker. This morning (I’m about 5w6d) my test line was no longer darker than the control line. I diluted the urine sample and the test line came out darker. I’m assuming this is the hook effect. Attached is a photo (top one is with FMU, bottom is the diluted sample).

Has anyone gotten the hook effect but still miscarried? I know these tests can’t necessarily tell the health of a pregnancy, but it’s all I can go off of for now until my ultrasound next Tuesday.

Does anyone know at approx what hcg level does the hook effect happen? I suppose the only way someone would know this is if they experienced hook effect and they were able to get their hcg blood drawn.

Last time I miscarried my test lines got lighter around week 7. I didn’t get a chance to try the hook effect at that time but had an ultrasound a couple days later. We saw a heartbeat and were so hopeful but I think it stopped the day after ultrasound. The doc confirmed my missed miscarriage about a week later at about 8 weeks.

Would appreciate anyone’s thoughts on this or their experience with the hook effect. Thanks!
