So I have been prescribed hydrocodone once in my life. It helped a lot to relieve pain after my surgery. I didn’t get addicted and I actually never even finished the bottle because I ended up healing pretty fast and didn’t need the rest of the pain medication.

Fast forward I had to get one of my back teeth pulled. Shocking this pain was much worse then my surgery. The dentist said they no longer prescribe opioid pain medication because people abuse it and get addicted. So he prescribed me IBPROPHEN that literally did nothing for my pain and I was absolutely miserable couldn’t work, sleep, even function because of the pain. I feel frustrated because I am not addicted and know I wouldn’t get addicted or abuse the prescription. But because some people do now others can’t get this very effective pain medication when they really need it.
