I’ve been on the same birth control for over a year. I was switched to Viorele (generic name) because I get really bad hormonal migraines. Up until this point, I have loved it. Has helped me tremendously.

BUT... the past two cycles I had, I did notice some breakthrough bleeding. With 12 days left of my BC, I full out started my period yesterday. Big surprise to me! I also had ZERO PMS symptoms, which I normally at least notice sore boobs before I start.

Is this normal? I messaged my gynecologist but haven’t heard back yet.
