You can lose your mucous plug all throughout pregnancy and it regrows, but that’s a rather large piece. I’ll call your doctor and let them know. ￼

It is probably part of your mucus plug. However dont frets too much, it regenerates. But you could always call your doctor to be sure! Watch for contractions or other signs of preterm labor.
