Nursery

I’ve been debating on ideas for my daughters nursery.. I really wanted to find a decent affordable convertible crib . My mother doesn’t think it’s worth it & thinks i should go straight to a toddlers bed ( old school , stuck in her ways 🙄 ) ima a FTM so I’m debating whether it’s work buying or not ? Any ideas ? I really hate telling people my ideas & what i want to do when my mind is made up bc they find was to downplay it and take the excitement away 🙄
