Mini pill side effects ?

My OB prescribed the mini pill for bc because I am EBF. Have any of you ladies experienced side effects I should be aware of?

There should be an information pamphlet that comes with the pills that lists all of the potential side effects to look out for!
If not, almost every pill has them listed on their website!

I was on it for 3 years and only possible side effect I had was increased acne. Otherwise no side effects

It made me breakout really bad, I had alot of spotting between periods, it made my periods very long too.  It also made me very moody

I have a 5 month old baby and started the mini pill a few weeks ago because my menses came on during the month of June.  I have lost weight within these 5 months so I’ll keep you posted if it makes me gain weight. The fact that that’s a possibility, i’ll increase my walking and put down the extra snacks I like... So far everything is fine, no worries or complaints.

I spotted off and on for the first month. No other side effects. I'm nursing and it hasn't affected my supply at all

I only took the mini while breastfeeding my 3 kids (prefer combo). I would have breakthrough bleeding if I didn’t take it at the exact time everyday. That was hard to get used to because I don’t experience that in the combo.

Personally it made me have a lot of acne & completely dry down there.. it made sex painful. As soon as I went off after 2 years, I was self lubricating again & started to enjoy sex again lol

I gained a shit load of weight on it but other than that no side effects

I got my period every two weeks on the mini pill. I ended up stopping it, and went back to normal.
