Anterior Placenta???

I went to find out baby’s gender (not with my Dr just for pics anatomy scan is in another week or two) and we had the hardest time. Baby looked like she had no room in there and the lady doing the ultrasound said the placenta is in the way....so I’m worried about an anterior placenta ☹️ I’m only 20 weeks but I feel kicks just fine. She mentioned I should just drink more water maybe that’s why the baby looks so squished in there so I’ve been going with that to make myself feel a little better. I didn’t have this with my first 2 so kinda worried now

And anterior placenta is nothing to worry about it softens movemnet but dosnt stop u feeling it completely and can sometimes make it hard to find the heart beat but thats about it 20 weeks tommoz with an anterior placenta and ive been feeling him since 18 weeks and tbh when it comes to scans its all about the position of baby had a 17 week private scan and he was face down and proper hiding in the placenta where as I had a private scan again at 19 weeks and he was all for showing himself off

Anterior placenta is common and tends to correct itself in 3rd trimester.

I have an anterior placenta but it doesn’t do any harm, just makes it harder to get great angles of baby sometimes 😜
