Have you tried applying a warm compress multiple times  day to see if it’ll form a head...it looks like there was an opening to drain....but dried out. If it doesn’t form a head. It’s an abscess under the skin...possibly MRSA. You’ll need it lanced and drained...and antibiotics. Good luck hun.
