IUI tomorrow

Dana

So excited and nervous for our technically first IUI tomorrow. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost 2 years. We finally decided to see a fertility specialist in March and they say after our first appointment everything in our state shut down due to COVID.

When they finally opened back up we decided to start our first IUI cycle at the beginning of June. My doctor started me on 5 mg of letrozole cycle days 3-7. I had my baseline ultrasound cycle day 4 and went back for my second ultrasound cycle day 12. My follicles were still only around 13 mm that day so they me come back 2 days later and I had nothing. They suspected that I had ovulated sometime between the baseline ultrasound and the on on CD 12. So we didn’t get to have our IUI. Talk about devastating. They put me on progesterone suppositories just in case we had conceived on our own. I ended up not getting pregnant so this time my doctor increased my letrozole to 7.5 mg and had me come in earlier for my second ultrasound.

Today was my second ultrasound and I had a 27 mm follicle. So I just did my trigger shot and go back in the morning for the IUI. Praying that we get a baby from this. I just turned 30 and 2020 has sucked so much already I need some good news.

Anyone get a positive pregnancy from their IUI?
