Effects of Folic acid

Ladies, am 2 days late all tests negative. Been on folic acid for two cycles now. Does it affect the cycle length? Am never this late. Though I used cheapie kits to test... Am confused😢😢. Is there still some hope for me or AF is coming 😥😥
