Second time mom questions

Ok so this is my second time at this, but so far it’s very different! My first baby I lost my plug early, had a stretch and sweep and had her a couple days later after feeling crampy etc. At 39 + 5.

This time I’ve had no stretch and sweep bc my midwife wants my body to do its own thing. No sign of a mucous plug and today I’ve had really sporadic and far apart contractions.

Any second time moms have super different labour’s with their babies? Also someone please tell me that early labour will kick into gear soon 🤦🏽‍♀️ been having far apart contractions for the last 8 hours. 😩 come on baby boy!!
