I went to have my first ultrasound yesterday and unfortunately they couldn’t find a heartbeat. I’m beyond heartbroken and just don’t know what to do with myself. As it was late Friday, the midwife said we’ll have to wait until Monday to be referred to the clinic who will take care of next steps, either d&c or oral medication depending on what I’m eligible for. I take it there’s nothing I can do to encourage this to pass naturally? I know that’s probably a stupid question but I just can’t bear the though of all this waiting.
