My son has bed shared since birth and we got a pack n’play for the room because I wasn’t ready to move him into his own room just yet. We’re having such a hard time trying to get him to sleep in his bed. At first, he did just fine in it, but recently he’s more aware of things and freaks out if I leave the room or he can see or touch me. He won’t take his bottle in the pack n play and will stand up screaming. I’ll pick him up and put him in the bed with us and he’ll instantly take the bottle and fall asleep. I’ll try to move him to his bed when he falls asleep, but he wakes up and I’ll give him his bottle hoping it’ll make him go back to sleep, but he’ll turn over and stand and it repeats. This makes things difficult with my SO because we can’t be intimate and I’m up with our son all night. He wants to do the cry it out method and put him in his room. I would just have a hard time doing that though. This has caused problems in our relationship and I miss being about to lay together because we don’t get many opportunities to anymore since we have a baby and he’s in the oilfield. Any advise would be appreciated.
