Did anybody get a negative at 12 dpo and then go on to get a positive?

I feel different this month, like something is going on inside. But I tested this morning at 12 dpo and it was negative. 
I’m going to wait now until my period comes and if it doesn’t then do another test. 
The negatives are really disheartening.

I think it depends on the length of your cycle, when are you due? I bought the early tests saying 6 days before.. I'm due on Thursday 9th July so should have been able to test from yesterday in theory. I used a calculator on the clearblue website based on my peak ovulation (25th/26th June) and 29 day cycle, and it says even with the early tests the earliest I can test is Tuesday! I will still be testing tomorrow as I can't help myself. It just helps me to know I'm still in the race even with the BFN as they're so deflating. Fingers crossed for you! :)
My best friend has a happy healthy 14 month old and didn't get any symptoms or her BFP until 7 days late, very hard wait for her at the time but proves it happens.
