Early stage labor contractions anyone?

Have any of you ladies started the early stages of contractions? Mine started early this morning as I was sleeping. It felt like heavy period pains and cramping down there. Very uncomfortable.  With my first baby I never experienced contractions so this is all new to me second baby. I will be 36 weeks Thursday.  I got them again an hour ago but luckily they aren’t lasting.

Ive been getting these for almost a week, on and off. My dr just says its everything "waking up" and preparing to go! 💖

I have been having contractions every 2-3 minutes for 2 days, last check I was 1cm dilated. I’m 35 weeks and so very uncomfortable.

This is what I posted earlier lol . This morning at work started cramping like a period for like an hour or two with pressure than it went away n than maybe two hours ago it happened again for n hour an this is my 6th n I’ve never had contractions with my others naturally I’ve always been induced. So it’s interesting n I’ll be 35 weeks tomorrow

I never noticed with my first, but this is my second pregnancy and I’d say over the last week or so they are getting more frequent (although not regular in any way). I’ve had a couple nights where I wake up around 3am from cramping. I’ll be 36 weeks on Saturday.

I had early labor with my second. Contractions 3-5 minutes apart for 15 hours at 39weeks1day then they just stopped 🤷‍♀️ I went into actual labor 2 days later lol

Yes, probably prodromal labor and could last several weeks still 😞 I didn’t have them long with my first (maybe a week?) but this time they started at 35 weeks. I’m having groups of painful contractions but they fade out before it starts to worry me too much.

With my first I started dilating and having normal contractions around 34 weeks. Doctor said I was in labor just not active. My contractions were pretty consistent just never close together. This time I started having contractions around 33 weeks and again they are pretty consistent but idk how dilated I am. I am hoping they can tell me at my ultrasound if not I’m going to ask at my appointment next week at 36 1/2 weeks
