2020 graduate

I’ve just graduated high school this year, with the whole covid-19 virus. I’ve seen a whole bunch of people from my grade get graduation parties/gifts such as lawn posters and such and I can’t help but feel sad. I understand that every family is different, my dad has a large work accident and came home from the hospital last week. But I genuinely feel like my parents could careless and that they aren’t proud of me. My ex boyfriend last year had a huge thing and got graduation gifts, I’m just curious if it’s a common thing for families just to glide over the fact that their oldest child graduated.

Edit: I’ve been thinking and maybe it’s because my school isn’t having any sort of graduation ceremony until November
